Sep 02, 2021 (newstodate): Competition will increase from the coming winter schedule on flights connecting the Czech Republic and Denmark.
New on the stage will be the Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings that is opening a new base with two Airbus A320 aircraft at Prague Ruzyne Airport, initially offering flights to 11 destinations throughout Europe from October 31, 2021.
Copenhagen Airport is the only Nordic destination on the list, with six weekly flights from October 31, 2021, seeing Eurowings competing against CSA and Smartwings that are already operating on the route.
Plans are already on the shelf to add a third aircraft at Prague allowing for opening of new routes, including flights between Prague and Stockholm.
