Sep 09, 2021 (newstodate): The winner of the tender for PSO flights on the route connecting the island of Savonlinna with Helsinki Airport has been announced.
   Seven bidders took part in the tender, with the Lithuanian carrier Transaviabaltika emerging as the winner to operate the flights with a Jetstream 32 aircraft on the route until the end of 2024.
   Other participants in the tender were BASe Airlines Ltd, NyxAir, Nordica, Amapola Flyg and DAT - all losing with more expensive propositions.
