Sep 07, 2021 (newstodate): For the third time in 2021, the Danish company Scan Global Logistics, a global full-service logistics provider headquartered in the Nordic, has announced a new acquisition - this time in New Zealand.
   Scan Global Logistics has thus entered into a binding agreement to acquire New Zealand Freight Forwarder Orbis Global Logistics Limited that will become a new member of the family from *October 5, 2021.
   The acquisition will contribute to bolstering the position of the Scan Global Logistics Group in the Pacific region, targeting significant growth in the coming years.
   Continuing under the management of the founders, Orbis has grown rapidly within a short period as a strong logistics provider in the NZ market, delivering uncomplicated and efficient solutions to its customers.
   In January 2021, Scan Global Logistics Group, managed by Allan Melgaard as CEO, signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Air and Ocean activities of one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the U.S, Werner Enterprises; and in April 2021, SGL acquired Grupo Contenosa, a Spanish family-owned logistics service provider.
