Aug 12, 2021 (newstodate): With the opening of two new routes to Iceland and Armenia in this coming winter schedule, Wizz Air is consolidating its already strong position at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport.
   According to routesonline, Ryanair is #1 with 11,700 seats during the week commencing August 9, followed by Wizz Air offering 6,882 weekly departure seats, while Latvia's airBaltic ranks 3rd with 6,815 seats.
   Wizz Air is now to allocate a third Airbus A320 to its base at Vilnius Airport, offering flights on 24 routes to 16 countries.
