Aug 12, 2021 (newstodate): This autumn, Finnair's routes between from Helsinki to Madrid and Barcelona will be operated in a cooperation with oneworld-partner Iberia.
Under a wet-lease contract, Finnair flights on the route to Barcelona will start from August 16, and to Madrid from September 2, 2021, with Iberia's Airbus A321 aircraft and crews in cockpit and cabin.
The cooperation is driven by the scarcity of Finnair's own narrow-body aircraft, as the fleet is still on long-term parking with Tarmac Aerosave in France and with Czech Airlines Technics, CSAT, in the Czech Republic.
