Aug 18, 2021 (newstodate): Cargo carried by 35 Russian airlines in H1, 2021, was 677,269 tonnes, an increase by 33.3 percent over H1, 2020, marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.
   Compared to H1, 2019, where volumes dipped 4,1 percent, the performance during January-June 2021 is also positive, up 29 percent.
   Topping the list among the Russian airlines is, as always, AirBridgeCargo with 313,836 tonnes, rising 36 percent compared to H1, 2020.
   #2 on the list, Aeroflot, sees its volumes still stagnating as the carrier operates only with passenger aircraft; volumes totaling 76,694 tonnes were thus only 0.4 percent above last year, reaching 100,059 tonnes in H1/2019.
