Aug 11, 2021 (newstodate): The new Norwegian long-haul carrier Norse Atlantic Airways lifted parts of its veil in a presentation on August 10, 2021.
   Earlier aiming at launch of services by December 2021, already, plans are now to see start of services by late Q1/2022 or early Q2, 2022, ending up with all 15 Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft in the air during next year's summer season.
   Flights will be offered between Europe and the USA, with European bases at Oslo, London and Paris connecting to US destinations New York Los Angeles and Florida.
   Norse Atlantic Airways is currently seeking AOCs in Norway and the UK and expects to employ some 1,600 people by summer 2022.
