Aug 04, 2021 (newstodate): British Airways got second thoughts about resuming own direct services from London to Riga, Latvia.
Originally slated to commence from July 2, 2021, offering three weekly flights on the route between London Heathrow and Riga and operating till September 26, the carrier removed the flights from the schedule and is now instead serving the London-Riga connection indirectly in cooperation with airBaltic and Finnair.
British Airways last served the route Riga - London for ten years, from April 1, 1997, till March 24, 2007, later code-sharing with airBaltic on the route.
