Aug 02, 202 (newstodate): The new Icelandic LCC Play is readying to take delivery of its third Airbus aircraft later this week.
The third A321neo aircraft is currently in the final stages of preparation before flying to Iceland and commencing operation in early August, according to the company.
In July, flights were opened to Berlin on the 4th with four weekly rotations; flights to Paris with four weekly rotations started from July 18; two weekly flights were added to Alicante on July 20, followed from July 23 by two weekly rotations to Barcelona - and finally, flights to Copenhagen were launched with two weekly rotations from July 25, going up to four weekly rotations from August 1, 2021.
For 2022, plans comprise flights to four destinations in North America - with options including Boston, New York, Baltimore, and Montreal
Among other new destinations in the next winter 2021/22 schedule are also flights to Gran Canaria from December 22, 2021, and to Salzburg from January 22, 2022.
