Aug 27, 2021 (newstodate): Operating one of the world's youngest aircraft fleet with the overall average age at a mere three years, the Kazakh carrier Air Astana has taken in more Airbus capacity.
The airline's sixth of seven Airbus A321LR ordered was delivered from the center in Hamburg to Air Astana on August 26, 2021, joining the fleet already comprising 15 Airbus A320/A320neo, 12 Airbus A321/A321neo/A321LR, three Boeing 767 and five Embraer E190-E2 aircraft.
In addition, the airline's LCC carrier FlyAristan operates nine A320 and one A320neo aircraft.
The fleet of Airbus A321LR acquired on a long-term lease agreement with Air Lease Corporation, is operated on the airline’s international network, with destinations including Dubai, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Sharm el-Sheikh and Podgorica.
Coming new destination on the Airbus A321LR network will be London, starting from September 2021.
