Aug 11, 2021 (newstodate): Atlantic Airways' sole Airbus A319 is now back in the Faroe Islands after a brief summer outing in Spain.
The aircraft was delivered on a lease contract with the Spanish carrier One Airways from June 2021 and ended up with the new Canarian carrier Lattitude that, however, suspended services after only three flights as travel restrictions grounded parts of the Spanish incoming tourism.
The Airbus A319 is actually superfluous in the fleet of Atlantic Airways, comprising also two Airbus A320neo on long-term lease contracts with ALC, and one Airbus A320 aircraft.
