Aug 02, 2021 (newstodate): Today will see the first regular flight under own name by Estonia's Nordica, part of the Nordic Aviation Group.
   The flight will be performed on the PSO route Gallivare-Arvidjaur-Stockholm Arlanda.
   Nordica is now a "real" airline with an own AOC and one CRJ900 aircraft operating under an own IATA code, and has implemented its Amadeus commercial platform replacing LOT Polish Airlines' platform used since November 18, 2016.
   For the time being, the strategy of Nordica will remain to be seeking PSO contracts in Europe pending the return of the aviation industry to normal levels, when opening of own routes to serve the Estonian market may become a viable business again.
   Operating under the Xfly brand, Nordica’s subsidiary Regional Jet provides ACMI and other flight services to Nordica, LOT, SAS and other European airline partners.
