Aug 24, 2021 (newstodate): Budapest Airport is seeing a revival of air links with Russia.
Starting from September, the Russian carrier Ural Airlines will be in the air with a new connection between Budapest and Yekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport.
Ural Airlines is also returning services to Budapest from Moscow Zhukovsky Airport; flights were first opened on December 28, 2019, but suspended as the coronavirus struck.
Both routes will be served with Airbus A320 aircraft.
The new routes will add to Budapest Airport's connectivity with Russia that already comprises flights to Kazan, Moscow Sheremetyevo, St Petersburg, and Vnukovo Airport.
