Jul 02, 2021 (newstodate): Sweden's Jonkoping Airport has named its new CEO to steer the airport: Sofie Hagman.
Ms Hagman is no newcomer to the airport's management, serving since 2018 as responsible for the operational and technical departments, air traffic control as well as the airspace and all infrastructure and technical equipment.
Stepping aside as interim CEO is Mattias Horberg, who took over as the CEO since November 2020, Rony Forsberg, left the office.
Besides charter flights, cargo constitutes a key strategy for Sweden's community-owned Jonkoping Airport served by integrators FedEx, time-matters, and Dan'X.
On the agenda are also hopes for a freighter connection between Jonkoping Airport and Riga Airport as well as a freighter service to Skellefteaa, and relentless efforts are made to find ways to realize these plan in talks with airlines and stakeholders in the industry.
