Jul 29, 2021 (newstodate): The Swedish carrier Amapola is now in the air on domestic flights in Ireland.
With the first operation on July 26, 2021, Amapola is serving the route connecting Dublin Airport and Donegal State, which is a PSO route that lost its operator as Stobart Air folded its wings.
The PSO contract covers a seven-months period, with two daily rotations between the two cities served with the airline's Fokker 50 aircraft.
Earlier this year, Amapola also landed a PSO tender for flights between Helsinki and Joensuu.
