Jul 27, 2021 (newstodate): With effect from July 31, 2021, the cargo carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines will have a new provider of cargo and ramp handling at Oslo Airport.
New provider is Oslo Seafood & Cargo Center, OSCC, that will be handling all ABC Airlines imports and exports in Norway at its terminal at Oslo Airport.
OSCC is today handling some 40 off/on-line airlines at Oslo Airport, including direct cargo handling contracts with about 20 airlines including CAL Cargo Airlines, Silk Way West Airlines, Suparna Airlines, Turkish Airlines and British Airlines.
Starting from November 15, 2016, AirBridgeCargo has been offering a twice-weekly freighter service from Oslo to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport for transfer to onward flights on ABC's extensive route network to Asia and USA, using Boeing 747-8F aircraft on Tuesdays and Fridays.
ABC Airlines first entered the Scandinavian market in April 2014 with two weekly calls at Sweden's Malmo Sturup Airport as an en-route stop on the route between Amsterdam and Moscow with Boeing 747-8F freighter before moving these operations to Oslo instead.
