Jul 28, 2021 (newstodate): The Lithuanian aircraft leasing company AviaAM Leasing, member of the Avia Solutions Group, is building up a fleet of converted Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
After completing the P2F process at Taikoo Aircraft Engineering Company Ltd's facility at Jinan in China, the first Boeing 737-800BCF aircraft acquired in March 2021 is now at Lithuania's Kaunas Airport to have a C-check and a subsequent repaint into the future lessee's livery.
Following final touch-ups, the aircraft will then be ready for delivery in mid-August, 2021.
The second P2F conversion for AviaAM is already underway at GAMECO, Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and after successful completion of the conversion process the cargo aircraft will be delivered to its tenant later in 2021.
AviaAM has commitments for a total of 10 Boeing 737-800BCF by mid-2022, already.
