Jul 30, 2021 (newstodate): After a challenging time marked by Covid-19, things are moving again for the Danish aircraft maintenance company Aeroservice.
-After some 18 months at low ebb, business is now returning, albeit still at levels way below original planning - but in a rather chaotic manner, says Andrew Djurhuus, Aeroservice CEO and Accountable Manager.
-The infrastructure has broken down, people have disappeared, and new companies have emerged with new people in charge - and we have had to adapt to servicing smaller aircraft types operated by new market players.
-But chaos also brings new opportunities; as a small company we are highly flexible compared to large corporates, and we early decided to hang on to be ready to move once things improve.
-So we have been working closely with the new airline Airseven and its partner Copenhagen Air Taxi at Roskilde Airport; we are now providing line maintenance for Great Dane Airlines at Copenhagen Airport, and we also expect to see our cooperation with the new carrier Play to grow in the years ahead.
-Also the coming new cargo carrier project at the Faroe Islands will bring new opportunities, so all in all we are quite optimistic, says Mr Djurhuus.
