Jun 07, 2021 (newstodate): The Estonian capacity provider Xfly has now opened its line maintenance Station at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The line maintenance capacity will be used primarily to maintain its own fleet, but plans - or hopes - are to offer the services also to other airlines as well.
Operating 20 aircraft including six ATR 42/72 and 14 CRJ 700/9800 before the Covid-19, Xfly today operates a modest fleet of five ATR72 and three CJR900 aircraft in addition to six parked aircraft. But in January 2020 the company announced plans for taking in seven Embraer 190/195 aircraft.
Beside its home turf at Tallinn and bases at Copenhagen and Aarhus, the company will soon open a new base in Vilnius to serve a yet-undisclosed airline customer under an ACMI contract.
