Jun 25, 2021 (newstodate): Finland's Kuopio Airport in the country's lake district is attracting new airline business.
Not less than two Ukrainian airlines have obtained traffic rights to operate to Kuopio in summer 2021: Bees Airline has now the rights to operate three weekly charter flights from Kiev, while SkyUp Airlines will be offering two weekly rotations to Kuopio, also from Kiev.
Set up in 2019, the LCC Bees Airlines operates a fleet of four Boeing 737-800 aircraft, while SkyUp Airlines that started flights in 2018 operates a fleet of 11 Boeing 737NG aircraft of various types.
