Jun 28, 2021 (newstodate): The resurrected Norwegian is back in Denmark with a spree of new routes, to be announced later today.
The carrier is to employ some 200 cockpit and cabin staff at the coming new base at Copenhagen Airport.
Today, the carrier performed its first flight from Copenhagen Airport to Malaga, and in the new route network will be a total of 27 destinations from Copenhagen and two from Aalborg Airport.
The base opening at Copenhagen Airport is effective from today, and the crew to be hired will primarily consist of former furloughed Norwegian-staff that lost their jobs as the airline retreated from the market in April 2020 due to financial collapse, Boeing aircraft issues and the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
