Jun 23, 2021 (newstodate): The Malta-registered aviation holding company Airhub Aviation has taken in its first Airbus A340-300 aircraft, aiming at the pax and cargo charter and ACMI markets.
The aircraft is now at Lithuania's Siauliai Airport for maintenance by the aircraft maintenance company Aviatic MRO as part of the registration process to the Maltese aircraft register and Airhub Airlines AOC.
The new aircraft, formerly operated by Air Tahiti, will start all-cargo operations in the first half of August 2021, and Airhub Aviation plans to grow the fleet to four aircraft of the type.
With Aleksandr Celiadin as its Chairman, Airhub Aviation is a subsidiary of the Lithuanian company Getjet Airlines that in 2019 became the first Baltic airline to introduce wide-body aircraft in the form of Airbus A330-300 in February 2019..
