Jun 01, 2021 (newstodate): The Danish logistics and transport company LEMAN Group is today taking leave of its CEO for seven years, Thomas Kroyer.
Citing a decision "to leave the company to pursue new endeavors", Mr Kroyer has led the LEMAN Group since September 2014 and pursued a strong career in the business since starting with Samson Transport in July 1986, later serving with DSV for over 10 years and with Kuehne + Nagel for almost seven years.
As one of his last and impressive moves as LEMAN Group CEO, Mr Kroyer spearheaded to opening of the Chinese market with new branch offices in Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Tianjin from April 19, 2021, and adding Beijing from May 12, 2021.
The LEMAN Group has installed Ole Ringheim, member of the LEMAN Board of Directors, as new Interim Group CEO, pending the apppointment of Mr Kroyer's successor.
