Jun 09, 2021 (newstodate): Icelandair is looking forward to unleashing flights soon on a spree of routes currently suspended.
In May 2021, the number of passengers on Icelandair flights reached 40,000, of which close to 22,000 were passengers traveling on international routes where flights have increased by 800 percent compared to last year.
In May 2021, Icelandair returned flights to Tenerife, Berlin and Munich, and on the Transatlantic network flights from Iceland to Seattle, Chicago, Denver and Washington were reopened, in addition to New York JFK and Boston already operated.
Scheduled flights to Zurich and Brussels, New York Newark will soon restart, and services on routes to Helsinki, Hamburg, Geneva, Manchester, Milan, Billund and Minneapolis will recommence in the latter half of this month as well.
