Jun 23, 2021 (newstodate): Finland's Helsinki Airport is welcoming Icelandair back after the suspension of the flights from Keflavik during the coronavirus pandemic.
So far, Icelandair will be offering two weekly rotations on the route, with plans for a phased increase in frequencies as the market rebounds.
In Finland, Icelandair is provided with ground handling services by Aviator.
Serving the route between Keflavik and Helsinki for over 30 years, Icelandair in 2020 planned to increase frequency on the route from nine to 14 weekly rotations from May 15, 2020, with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft - but the pandemic soon brought it all down to earth..
