Jun 07, 2021 (newstodate): With the first flight on June 28, 2021, the German low-cost carrier Eurowings will be in the air between Malmo in southern Sweden, and the Balkan region.
Member of the Lufthansa Group, Eurowings already serves Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Landvetter, but is thus now starting up operations at Malmo Airport as well.
At Malmo, the carrier will introduce twice-weekly flights to Pristina International Airport in Kosovo with A320 aircraft.
Besides catering to the resumption of leisure tourism, the route will also build on the significant volumes of ethnic traffic from the Oresund region.
