Jun 08, 2021 (newstodate): In May 2021, Finnair lifted a total of 6,766 tonnes of cargo - 53.6 percent up on last year when passenger traffic was on hold and all-cargo flights were still in the early stage.
   Of the total volume, cargo on scheduled passenger flights stood at 2,600 tonnes, while all-cargo operations accounted for 4,165 tonnes.
   2,264 tonnes of the total were carried on the Asian flights, while the  North Atlantic flights lifted only 150 tonnes.
   During January-May 2021, Finnair cargo has transported a total of 34,099 tonnes, including 3,011 tonnes on scheduled fights and 21,089 tonnes on all-cargo operations.
   In 2020, Finnair lifted a total of 71,733  tonnes, of which 26,036 tonnes were transported on all-cargo flights.
