Jun 16, 2021 (newstodate): Eurocontrol has now presented an overview of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Denmark's air traffic.
Since March 1, 2020, Denmark has lost 319,000 flights; on a seven-day average there are now 309 daily flights, which is 71 percent down on 2019-levels.
According to the traffic forecast, Denmark will have 42 percent of the traffic in 2019, going up to 70 percent in 2022.
The country's busiest airport, Copenhagen Airport now operates 210 daily flights on an average - down 74 percent on 2019, with SAS the single largest operator with a daily average of 59 flights, 82 percent less than in 2019.
According to statistics from Copenhagen Airport on May 2021, the airport saw its total passenger volumes up by 543.7 percent, y-o-y - but still down 90.3 percent compared to May 2019.
