Jun 09, 2021 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport will benefit from Thailand's efforts to revive its ailing tourism industry.
Starting from July 2, 202, Thai Airways will return flights between European destinations and Phuket, aiming at the leisure traffic with flights from Europe going directly to Phuket while returning to Europe via Bangkok.
Copenhagen Airport will thus see Thai Airways operating the coming route to Phuket with Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
As its only Scandinavian service so far this year, Thai Airways has been operating a weekly rotation from Bangkok to Copenhagen Airport since July 17, 2020, and is planning to go up to three weekly rotations from July 1, 2021.
