Jun 08, 2021 (newstodate): Air China is a loyal customer at WFS for cargo and ramp handling at Copenhagen Airport.
As part of a wider package of contract renewals, Air China has thus again renewed and extended its contract with WFS, first inked on September 6, 2006, also the first year of WFS operations at Copenhagen Airport.
Served with Airbus A330-200 aircraft, Air China has kept its route from Beijing to Copenhagen Airport open through much of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Today, the carrier is offering one weekly rotation on the route serving the passenger traffic, but has until recently also been operating up to three weekly all-cargo flights to cater to the need for air cargo transportation.
Air China returned passenger flights on the route from Beijing to Copenhagen Airport from May 30, 2018, having earlier operated flights on the route while pulling out again from 2001, leaving SAS alone on the route for 17 years.
Periodically, Air China Cargo has also been operating up to four weekly freighter flights to Copenhagen Airport.
