Jun 03, 2021 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport is seeing a positive trend in cargo volumes after the drop in 2020.
During the first five months of this year, the airport has thus been handling a total of 3,856 tonnes of cargo, which is 1.2 percent up on last year.
Excepting the first two months of 2021, volumes are rising by three percent, y-o-y in March; by 10.4 percent in April, and by 27.6 percent, y-o-y, in May 2021, to 830 tonnes.
Of the total volumes of cargo and mail, 57 percent are imports, while exports account for the remaining 43 percent, with Schengen cargo constituting 97.5 percent of the volumes
