Jun 01, 2021 (newstodate): Starting from June 10, 2021, the volume of flights from Russia to seven countries will be increased.
Most spectacularly, flights between Russia and Belarus will increase to 10 weekly rotations by airlines of the two countries, and Russia is also to resume daily railway connections with Belarus between Moscow and two points in Belarus, as well as increasing the number of carriages on high-speed trains between Moscow and Minsk.
The decision will help break Belarus' current isolation with Western countries, especially in the field of air transport after the recent incident of forcing a Ryanair aircraft on an intra-EU flight to perform a landing at Minsk Airport after an alleged bomb threat.
