May 11, 2021 (newstodate): After a weak start to the year, Estonia's Tallinn Airport is slowly regaining its breath in cargo volumes.
After the first four months of this year, the airport has been handling a total of 3,034 tonnes of cargo against 3,160 tonnes in January-April 2020 - still down four percent, y-o-y.
But the trend is positive as the airport grew volumes in March 2021 by three percent, and again saw an increase by 10.4 percent, y-o-y, to 833 tonnes in April.
In April, 763 tonnes were cargo and 71 tonnes were mail shipments, and in total 56.8 percent of the volumes were imports.
