May 31, 2021 (newstodate): The new Lithuanian carrier Heston Airlines based at Vilnius Airport is working hard to secure its coming operations slated to start within two weeks.
As one step, Heston Airlines has signed up with the US-based aftermarket aircraft part supplier Setna iO that will provide 24/7 customer and component support for the airline's fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft on a PBH basis.
Landing its AOC on May 21, 2021, the carrier took delivery of its second aircraft on May 26, 2021, like the first A320 delivered in December 2020 on a lease contract with the Irish aircraft leasing company Genesis.
Part of Heston Aviation Group focused on aviation assets Leasing, Trading, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul, and now ACMI/Charter operation, Heston Airlines plans to grow the aircraft fleet to seven aircraft by 2022, and eventually up to 10 aircraft at a later stage.
