May 03, 202 (newstodate): The Icelandair Group has successfully completed a second step in divesting of non-core activities.
The Group has thus sold its travel agency Iceland Travel to the Icelandic company Nordic Visitor, with HQs in Reykjavik and sales offices in Sweden and Scotland.
Earlier, the Icelandair Group sold its subsidiary Icelandair Hotels.
The sale of Iceland Travel is part of the Icelandair Group’s strategy to focus on flight operations, while at the same time preserving the interests of Icelandic tourism, the company’s employees, and other stakeholders.
