May 07, 2021 (newstodate): In January-April 2021, Copenhagen Airport handled a total of 84,657 tonnes of cargo, commercial and integrator traffic combined.
   Compared to 2020, this was an increase by two percent - but compared to volumes in 2019 Copenhagen Airport still trails some 26 percent behind.
   Heavily dependent on passenger hub traffic, the airport is especially strongly affected by the downturn in traffic due to the Coronavirus.
   Volumes carried in the belly holds of passenger aircraft thus dropped 5.4 percent, y-o-y, to 28,164 tonnes in January-April 2021 - while down 32 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
