May 25, 2021 (newstodate): The Turkish handling company Havas is to extend its partnership with FBO RIGA under a new agreement, securing its sustained presence at the Latvian airport.
With the new agreement, Havaş will carry out all ground handling and de-icing operations of business jets handled by FBO RIGA at Riga Airport until 2024.
The cooperation will however not be limited to Riga Airport only, but also extends to other European and CIS countries’ airports network, where both Flight Consulting Group and Havas provide services.
Since taking over the Latvian ground handling company North Hub Services in 2010, Havas has been providing fully-fledged ground handling services, including luggage, ramp and general aviation operations, to airline companies at Riga Airport including airBaltic.
However, the cooperation between Havas and airBaltic is coming to an end from January 1, 2022, as airBaltic will implement own passenger handling at Riga Airport, ending the cooperation with HAVAS at Riga Airport.
