Apr 06, 2021 (newstodate): Wizz Air has now finalized its ground handling contracts for operations at all airports in Norway.
In March 2021, Wideroe Ground Handling won a three-year contract for ground handling of Wizz Air at eight more Norwegian destinations, and with the new contract WGH became provider of handling services for all Wizz Air flights at 13 Norwegian airports - excepting Oslo - from mid-June 2021, fully replacing Aviator that has been serving Wizz Air in Norway since 2012.
At the last remaining issue, Wizz Air now confirms that Menzies will replace SAS Ground Handling at Oslo Airport under a new five-year contract that will comprise handling of some 5,000 Wizz Air rotations annually.
