Apr 19, 2021 (newstodate): A new attempt to succeed in the low-cost long-haul business is made by the US carrier Eastern Airlines.
   The first bid in this market for low-cost non-stop US-Europe flights is placed by Eastern Airlines with a route connecting Chicago O'Hare Airport with Sarajevo Int'l Airport in Bosnia, with the virgin flight on May 28, 2021, with one weekly rotation till September 5, 2021, using Boeing 767-200 aircraft.
   The new route marks the first direct US flight connection at Sarajevo Airport as well the carrier's first route at Chicago Airport.
