Apr 23, 2021 (newstodate): Singapore Airlines is still operating a limited flights schedule on the route to Copenhagen.
Today, the carrier offers three weekly rotations on the route between Singapore and Copenhagen, while flights were reopened from June 20, 2020, with passenger flights on one weekly rotation, using Airbus A350-900 after a period of complete lockdown.
Until November 2019, Singapore Airlines offered five weekly rotations, planning to increase to daily services from January 2, 2020 - but all flights were then suspended from March 2020 as the pandemic struck.
To serve the Scandinavian air cargo market, Singapore Airlines installed a weekly all-cargo flight between Copenhagen and Singapore from April 2, 2020, with Airbus A350-900 passenger aircraft carrying shipments in the belly cargo compartment until passenger flights were reinstated.
