Apr 08, 2021 (newstodate): All-cargo flight operations play a key role in the current Covid-19 times at Latvia's Riga Airport.  
   The volume of all-cargo flights has thus increased by 49 percent, y-o-y, to 245 movements in March 2021 alone - and by 43 percent, y-o-y, to 662 during Q1, 2021.
   Cargo volumes on these cargo-dedicated operations is thus up by 117 percent in March 2021, to 1,872 tonnes, and by 75 percent to 4,50 tonnes in Q1/2021.
   But due to the low number of passenger flights, belly cargo is down by 38 percent, y-o-y, in March 2021 to a mere 411 tonnes, and by 60 percent to 1,205 tonnes during January-March 2021.
