Apr 13, 2021 (newstodate): The Moldovan carrier Terra Avia is planning to expand its fleet with a Boeing 747-400 freighter and one Airbus A320 aircraft.
The Airbus A320 will join the fleet at Chisinau already by mid-April 2021, while the Boeing 747-400F formerly operated by Thai Airways Cargo will be delivered shortly as well.
In the carrier's fleet are today three Boeing 747-400 aircraft including two in passenger and one in cargo version.
Set up in 2005, the carrier offers charter and aircraft lease contracts.
Terra Avia is today one of three airlines registered in Moldova operating Boeing 747 aircraft - the other two being Aerotranscargo with six cargo aircraft, and Fly Pro with one, earlier three, three Boeing 747 freighter aircraft.
