Apr 28, 2021 (newstodate): After a further easing of the restrictions on air travel, Finnair is increasing frequency on its flights connecting Helsinki and St Petersburg, in Russia.
Starting from this week, the carrier is thus operating four weekly rotations on the route, up from two weekly flights.
Russia lifted the ban on flights since March 2020 to Finland from January 27, 2021, allowing Finnair to return with two weekly rotations to St Petersburg from January 29, 2021.
Finnair has been online between Helsinki and Ste Petersburg since the first flight on June 2, 2008.
