Apr 14, 2021 (newstodate): Ethiopian Airlines Cargo has obtained rights to operate cargo flights from Oslo to Seoul Incheon Airport in South Korea via the Russian Sibir corridors.
The rights allow Ethiopian Airlines Cargo to serve Norway's seafood exporters by an extension to Oslo of the twice-weekly Boeing 777F freighter flights from Liege to Incheon Airport.
Capacity on the route to South Korea is shared with Ethiopian Airlines in Belgium, so the actual cargo capacity offered to Norwegian seafood exporters varies.
Still, routing the flights over Siberia means shorter flying time, less fuel consumption, and potentially more cargo capacity on the flights out of Oslo.
