Apr 22, 2021 (newstodate): Air Canada has reined in on its services to Iceland planned for this summer season.
The carrier has thus deleted flights on the route connecting Montreal and Keflavik, now planning only for flights on the route between Toronto and Keflavik to be served with three weekly rotations starting from July 1, 2021, with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft replacing the Airbus A319 earlier operating the route for Air Canada Rouge.
In June 2017, Air Canada entered the Icelandic market with a total of seven weekly flights - four from Toronto and three from Montreal as the first Canadian airline and only Star Alliance carrier in North America to fly to Iceland.
