Mar 11, 2021 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport did see a drop in cargo volumes in February 2021 - but not that serious..
A total of 1,163 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, which was down 6.8 percent, y-o-y.
But it was actually on the same level as January 2021 with 1,165 tonnes, which was still an increase by one percent over January 2020..
In 2020, Vilnius Airport came out the second-largest airport in the Baltic region, measured in cargo volumes, with a total of 14,476 tonnes, and was alone among the region's airports to see growth after increasing 3.6 percent, y-o-y, in volumes handled.
