Mar 03, 2021 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport may soon see the first Boeing 737 MAX aircraft operation on the runway.
Planning for the introduction of initially two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, Icelandair will be operating the aircraft on the route to Copenhagen from March 8, 2021, to serve two weekly rotations.
Prior to the introduction of the aircraft type, Icelandair has completed comprehensive pilot training sessions on its dedicated Boeing 737 MAX simulator at Keflavik, being one of few airlines with this capacity in-house.
