Mar 22, 2021 (newstodate): The Spanish carrier, member of the IAG Group Vueling is returning services to Helsinki in 2021.
The carrier has been online on the route between Barcelona and Helsinki with the first flight on May 17, 2013, but flights were suspended from October 2019 - and for obvious reasons not resumed during the summer 2020 season.
Now, Vueling will launch services on the route from June 1, 2021, with one weekly rotation using Airbus A320 aircraft.
With this latest addition, Vueling will be back in full swing in the Nordic markets from summer 2021.
New on the schedule will be flights between Copenhagen and Malaga, Alicante and Mallorca in addition to the existing route from Barcelona.
Vueling is also to launch twice-weekly flights at Billund Airport to Barcelona, Malaga and Alicante.
In Norway, Vueling is offering flights to Barcelona, and new routes in summer 2021 will connect Barcelona with Bergen and Stavanger, both served earlier.
Sweden will also see the return of flights between Barcelona and Gothenburg, suspended since September 2019.
