Mar 04, 2021 (newstodate): The volume of Norwegian salmon exports to China is back on a growth curve in 2021.
   From the start of this year till February 28, 2021, China imported a total of 4,539 tonnes of Norwegian salmon, a hefty increase by 107 percent, y-o-y.
   In the last week of February alone, volumes even more than six-doubled, to a total of 761 tonnes.
   With these latest figures, the export of salmon to China is, however, only slightly above the volumes exported during the same periods in 2019.
   Hong Kong is doing less well, down 18 percent during January-February 2021, to only 1,501 tonnes.
