Mar 10, 2021 (newstodate): It remains to be seen if the start-up Egyptian charter carrier SkyBird will be seen in the Nordic and Baltic airspace.
At least it has a faint Baltic fingerprint by taking in its first aircraft by May 2021, an Airbus A320 earlier operated by the Latvian charter and ACMI carrier Smartlynx from February 2017.
SkyBird plans to offer charter flights connecting Egyptian leisure destinations with airports in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The airline has been set up by Egyptian and Saudi Arabian investors.
